As with all our collars, they are hand made, and as we should take care of our own fine jewelry, these collars are to be cared for the same way,and the better we care for them the longer they will last, however, if your dog is anything like my mischievous water loving mutt, these items will no doubt end up covered in muck and soaking wet at every available opportunity, so do your best to clean them and dry them, and they will still look great, but please be more precious of the suede models
